Clenbuterol – By Hooker
Let me just start by saying that this is the single most misunderstood compound in use for athletics and bodybuilding today. Most of the information out there is ½ truths and conjecture. Ok…having said that, I’m going to make an effort to dispel some myths and give everyone a better understanding of Clen.
First, lets plow quickly through some of the basics:
Clenbuterol (Clen) is a beta-2 agonist/antagonist bronchodialator. What this means, is that it stimulates your beta-2 receptors. And this in turn stimulates you (clen has stimulant effects which will make you feel….well…stimulated). All of this serves to increase your body temperature a bit, increase your basal metabolic rate, and decrease your appetite (Int J Obes Relat Metab Disord. 1994 Jun;18(6):429-33.). Clen also can decrease insulin sensitivity (Am J Physiol Endocrinol Metab. 2002 Jul;283(1):E146-53.).
POTATOES, Unusual But Delicious!! – By Vanilla-Gorilla
Don’t you just get so sick of potatoes baked, boiled, microwaved, fried…..nah, we usually don’t get sick of them fried, but we do indeed get tired of them in the other ways as mentioned above. I know I do. So being the kindhearted, loveable, brillant, and insanely good looking human being that I am, I figured I would give you guys a little sumthin sumthin to try.
Here’s what you will need. I find that this amount usually will feed one.
HOW NOT TO MESS UP ON DNP FAQ – By CandyRoids
Since some guys have been playing around and disrespecting DNP and then griping to the forums about the painful results, we need to make this VERY specific and VERY correct so that people won’t keep jumping for DNP out of curiosity, or without the willpower they need to operate this respondibly. So here are my experienced guidelines to using it the RIGHT way.
Chicken Pomodoro – By Vanilla-Gorilla
This is a good offseason meal that provides a lot of protein and a good flavorful sauce that doesn’t contain much fat. This just kinda pulls you away from the norm of grilled chicken.
First off lets start with the chicken breasts. You will need two. These will make 2 servings. You can serve your honey one, and be a pig and eat it all at the same time, or of course save it for later. Cut them in half lengthwise, then cover them with a piece of plastic wrap. Lightly pound the breast’s out to even thickness. Salt and pepper them and dredge them in flour, just enough to coat.
Good Read About Tendons – By weight77
While injecting test increases protein synthesis by roughly 50 times, depending on dose and time, most bodybuilders forget that it will reduce collagen synthesis by more than 50% — more like 80%, giving you the collagen synthesis rate of a senior citizen. Since collagen makes up tendons, bros are very prone to injury if they continue to lift very heavy, unless they cycle off T and let their collagen synthesis get back to normal. It’s like having the skeletal muscle of a gorilla with the tendons of a very old man.
No Name, Just Read The Recipe! – By Vanilla-Gorilla
Ok, so I lied. Maybe it does have a name, but if I would have titled the thread with the correct name none of you muscleheads would have went into it. You all would have quite frankly been like, “WTF is that”. It’s called boeuf a la ficelle. It’s french for “beef on a string”. Traditionally you would use a string to tie the beef up with and lower it into the pot, but If you don’t want to tie the beast up, then who gives a shit, don’t, lol. This dish is very pretty when prepared.
Post Cycle Therapy – By Aristimuqoh
Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism:
Pulsatile secretion of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus is required for both the initiation and maintenance of the reproductive axis in the human. Pulsatile GnRH stimulates the biosynthesis of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) that in turn initiates endogenous testosterone production and spermatogenesis as well as systemic testosterone secretion and virilization. Failure of this episodic GnRH secretion or disruption of gonadotropin secretion results in the clinical syndrome of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (HH).
Drinking Physiological Regulatory Mechanisms – By Lacrima_Mortis
DRINKING PHYSIOLOGICAL REGULATORY MECHANISMS – maintains the constancy of some internal characteristic of the organism in the face of external variability
It contains 4 essential features:
1. system variable – characteristic to be regulated, such as body temperature
2. set point – optimal value of the system variable (98.6F)
3. detector – monitors the value of the system variable (such as an internal thermometer)
4. correctional mechanism – restores the system variable to the set point (such as shivering when cold, sweating when hot)
Doggcrapp’s Stretches – By xcelbeyond
I hope DC doesn’t mind me posting this here.
CHEST: Flat bench 90 lb dumbbells chest high — lungs full of air — I drop down into the deepest fly I can for the first 10 seconds or so with my lungs full of air and chest out — then staying there I arch my back slightly and try to press my sternum upward — this is absolutely excruciating — the rest of the 60 seconds I try to concentrate on dropping my elbows even farther down (I try to but I don’t think they are going any lower — LOL) — the last 15 seconds I’m pretty much shaking like a leaf, I have tears in my eyes and I think about dropping bodybuilding and becoming a tap dancer on Broadway (ok that parts not true)–My opinion is people should use dumbbells that are a little over half of what your heaviest set of 6-8 reps would be. I can’t state this enough — extreme stretching royally sucks!!! It’s painful. But I have seen amazing things with people — especially in the quads.
How Different Drugs Control Estrogen – By drgoodbody
Oh brother… I could write a text book here, but I don’t have the time. So I will give some quick short answers.
Basics on Prolactin, and most importantly that Dopamine regulation has a major effect on prolactin secretion:

Prolactin and progesterone are not the same thing, and are not simply connected via steroidogenesis pathways (scroll down til you get to the graphic with all the sterans “Major pathways in steroid biogenesis”).
